Kevin Krejci - Class Of 1961

Kevin passed away on February 22, 2015, age 71. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 10, 1943 to parent's Richard Krejci and Doris Scott Krejci who preceded him in death. He is survived by Kim Scott Krejci and wife Linda of Scottsdale, AZ and Richard Scott Krejci of Urbana, VA. Nieces Kristy Krejci of Chicago, IL, Meghan Morisetteand husband Joe of Newport News, VA, and Susan Krejci of Brunswick, OH and nephews Brian Krejci and his wife Buffy of Phoenix, AZ, Michael Krejci and his wife Kerri of St. Augustine, FL., Geoffrey Krejci of Brunswick, OH, and Kevin's partner Bill Heacox. His brother Michael preceded him in death. 
 
Kevin received his BA from Ohio Wesleyan University, and his MA and MFA from Ohio State University, and was a faculty member of Loyola University and lecturer at the University Of Illinois Industrial Design School. He is a past Affiliate Member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and AIA (American Institute of Architects), and was a Chair holder with Color Marketing Group. His career included Senior Designer for United States Gypsum Corp., Director of Styling for Mannington Mills, Design Manager with Center for Applied Engineering, Director of New Product Development with Syroco/Fiskars, and Senior Product Development Manager for The Bradford Exchange. He was a consultant to International Silver, J.P. Stevens, and Milliken. Throughout his years in design, Kevin brought to life numerous products we all enjoy and use in everyday life. Since moving to Arizona, Kevin worked as a Senior Sales Associate with Walmart for the last 11+ years. He loved his friends and family, his dogs Scotty and Sparky, and travel. Many Caribbean cruises, and trips to Asia, South America and Europe also fueled his wanderlust.
 
 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4th at 5633 East Colby in Mesa, AZ, with the ceremony beginning at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley www.hov.org or P.A.W.S. www.poundanimalsworthsaving.org
