I have a friend since 1969, who looks so much like Sue.  I have been often reminded of her sweet ways since then.  She is missed.  meri

As the final weeks of the class of 1961's senior year approached, the shakers and movers made a valiant effort to insure that every member of the class had a date for the prom. Neither Sue or I intended to be in attendance. With strong encouragement and more than a little manipulation we were pressed together and became one another's reluctant prom dates. Awkward!

I was a bundle of nerves. Sue may have been, but it didn't show. I remember introducing her to my parents in the living room of our home on Elmwood Avenue where my father insisted on taking an inordinate number of pictures to document the occasion. Sue was patient and gracious. I believe under difficult circumstances, Sue revealed the depth and strength of her character. Corky

Sue kind of got lost in our class. because she lived in Bay Village and just moved to River her senior year.  I only knew her because she use to date Jim Hamilton of Bay and he was a friend.  She was in a difficult situation moving so late in her high school years.  I learned of her passing a number of years ago from Jim and for those of you who had an opportunity to get to know her while she was in River, I know she will be missed.

Sue was with me when I met my husband, Ken.  She was a bridesmaid at our wedding.  I lost touch with her after that.   She was very kind and a class act.   I'm so sorry to hear that she passed away.
