I remember Carolyn being very pretty (think Natalie Wood), very smart, and very nice. I was so sorry to learn of her tragic death.

I have fond memories of Carolyn. She sat in front of me in home room for three years. She was liked by all.

She was such a nice person, always willing to help out.  Too often, she was responsible for setting test curve scores beyond where people like me wanted to see them.  She also embarrassed easily, when the conversation became a little "off color".  Her passing was exceptionally tragic for someone who would have had so much offer life.

Charlotte Pussel (Lundy) (1961)

Carolyn and her husband and baby had purchased a vacation home on the east coast.  The first time they stayed in the cottage the furnace malfunctioned and they were asphyxiated.  This must have happened over 30 years ago.  Her husband had been diagnosed with some kind of cancer and they were so distressed.  The autopsy revealed there was no cancer.  I spent alot of happy times with Carolyn and then when Tom Stanley died, Carolyn and I spent alot of grieving time together.  With sadness submitted by Char Pussel Lundy

Ann Loflin (Hobson) (1961)

I wrote a letter to Carolyn, after a few years of being out of touch, and she wrote right back--this must have been shortly before her death.  We both had daughters the same age. She was going to school in Boston after she graduated from Smith to become a librarian.  Her husband was a really nice guy.  He had just gotten a diagnosis of Hodgkins Disease, I think.

It makes me so sad to think of all she missed.
